Hemdean House School
At Hemdean House School we believe that assessment is a crucial and integral part of the teaching and learning process. The function of assessment is to ensure that every pupil is working to their full potential, to identify underachievement and to promote the quality of teaching and learning. We recognise the potential for assessment in developing a positive self-image in the pupil by means of positive and constructive feedback, and the feeling of success, which encourages self-confidence and further study. |
