"I like to rate movies that I've seen by how it has affected me emotionally and by whether or not I'm still going to be thinking about it even after I've left the cinema. I've Loved You So Long succeeds in both. It may not have the best cinematography or the best costumes since I'm sure it was made with such a small budget, but it's such a beautiful and moving story that one can't help but be totally immersed. I've read some of the major critic's reviews and I see that I'm not alone."
